Will Hines

A native of upstate South Carolina, Will is a graduate of Clemson University, earning magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business Management. He worked as a financial advisor with an independent registered investment advisory firm before joining together with co-founder Mike Kuckel to build Sovereign Financial.

Will, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Kingdom Advisor (CKA®), is the president of Sovereign Financial. His role is built around financial and life planning for each client. He takes clients through The Sovereign Way planning process, which keys in on legacy and retirement planning.

Outside of work, one of Will’s passions is interviewing veterans as part of the Library of Congress’ Veterans History Project. With over 25 interviews of World War II veterans, Will strives to preserve stories from the “Greatest Generation” before they are all gone. Along with an interest in preserving veteran’s stories, Will has a large collection of World War II artifacts and travels across Europe researching the war.

Will is an active member and serves as a trustee at Greenville Community Church. He is passionate about supporting ministries in the upstate that focus on sharing the Gospel with a lost and hurting world.
